Fermin Javier closed Season 7 with a four-goal playoff showcase, scoring the winner and sealing the result into an empty net as Blanco beat Negro 6-4 to claim third place. Negro led three separate times in a frantic opening period, but Blanco answered every surge and reached the first intermission level at 3-3. The regular-season Campeón Goleador then supplied the only goal of the second to put Blanco ahead for good.
Israel Santamaria struck twice for Negro, while Claudio Espinosa and Alejandro Altamirano added one apiece. Enrique Vizcarra and Antonio Zamora delivered Blanco's other goals, and Fermin completed his hat trick early in the third with the goal that ultimately stood as the winner. Altamirano, set up by Sebastián Carriles, pulled Negro back within one, but Fermin finished his four-goal night into the empty cage after Ivett Nuñez, Phillipe Nadeau and Ruben Hernandez had helped drive his earlier scoring.
Iñaki García stopped 22 of 26 shots to protect Blanco's advantage. Mateo Lara made 29 saves on 34 shots credited against him, with the final goal scored after Negro sent him to the bench for an extra attacker. Blanco generated 35 total shots to Negro's 26, and a game without penalties was settled without special teams. Blanco responded to semifinal disappointment with a podium finish; Negro's title defense closes in fourth place.
