Story
Pilar Mendoza put her name on the scoresheet in her Sunday Night debut, assisting Pato Gómez's second goal in Azul's 6–3 Season 8 opening win over Negro. The rookie forward begins with a point earned alongside the league's all-time scoring leader on a team coming off a runner-up finish. That first assist gives her opening chapter a concrete spark: a newcomer already contributing to Azul's attack.
