Pato Gómez is the all-time leader in points (98, No. 1) and assists (56), No. 2 all-time in goals (42), a four-time Top Scorer and the Season 5 champion captain of an Azul side sitting first at 1-1-0 (+3), still the team to beat even as its power play cooled. In Jornada 2 he set up both of teenager Sergio Moréno's goals in a 3-3 tie with brother Topo's Verde — two more assists that pushed him to 98 career points and extended his own record point streak to 20 games.
